Rather than approximating a single device, it reconstructs the full signal chain of a passive equalizer: input transformer coloration, an inductor-capacitor (LC) filter network, tube makeup amplification, and output transformer character, all rendered in a CPU-efficient hybrid DSP topology. The result is a tonal tool that does what surgical parametric equalizers cannot: it shapes frequency response while simultaneously adding the harmonic complexity, gentle compression, and high-frequency softening that characterize analog signal paths.
